Biological Beekeeping Wallner
The switch of the varroa mite from the eastern bee breed Apis Cerana to the European bee Apis Mellifera has caused great difficulties for beekeeping. More than 95% of our old bee material shows no ability to adapt to the new bee parasite.
This condition is dangerous and untenable for our European bee. Despite the best means of control, it has not yet been saved from its destruction. Our bee must be led out of this crisis by consistent selection and breeding according to the latest findings.

Concept of my method of selection for varroa resistance:
Reproduction of colonies that have not been emilted for several years with proof of coordination and performance.
1st year: Queens are distributed to all stands
2nd year: Colonies are selected for performance and infestation development
3rd year: The best of these are not emilted and are sent to the selection stand
-> Varroa killer test
4th year: The best of these are placed on the resistance level.
-> New selection.
-> The best of these are used as breeding colonies.
